Job Summary:

Spirit AeroSystems is seeking a skilled Aircraft Painter - Large Structures Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for painting and finishing large aerospace components.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
  • Operate various types of paint spraying equipment.
  • Apply finish coats to aircraft and aerospace components.
  • Thin and mix paints and other surfacing materials.
  • Set up and operate robotic spray coating equipment.
  • Perform rework and touch-up as needed.
  • Record manufacturing data and statistics.

Requirements:

  • Must be willing and able to work any shift.
  • All candidates must pass the WorkKeys Assessment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using conventional paint guns.
