We are in search of a Processing Technician to support our processing team in the post-harvest operations of raw cannabis materials, as well as the packaging, labeling, and fulfillment of cannabis-infused products.

Shift Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday (6:00am - 2:30 pm)

We operate numerous retail locations nationwide under the BEYOND / HELLOTM brand, as well as the recently acquired Nature's Remedy brand, providing an exceptional in-store experience complemented by online reservations and express pickup options.

Every day, our team members engage in the cultivation, processing, and manufacturing of a diverse range of cannabis brands, including The Bank, The Lab, Tasteology, Nira + Medicinals, and Sèche, catering to various consumer and patient needs across multiple states.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct mechanical and manual bucking of cannabis biomass.
  • Ensure accurate weighing and labeling of biomass on storage racks and bins.
  • Execute drying and curing tasks as instructed.
  • Perform mechanical and manual trimming of cannabis flowers.
  • Handle mechanical and manual packaging of cannabis flowers.
  • Package cannabis flowers according to weight specifications.
  • Assemble primary, secondary, or tertiary packaging for all cannabis products.
  • Print and affix labels to finished packaged products.
  • Maintain and perform light to medium upkeep on automated equipment, including cleaning and preventive maintenance.
  • Operate, maintain, and clean processing, packaging, and labeling machinery.
  • Conduct data entry and maintain records essential for the traceability of medical cannabis.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and participation in safety meetings.
  • Perform additional functions as needed to ensure a sufficient supply of products to meet demand.
  • Conduct inventory counts of packaging and labeling materials.
  • Provide constructive feedback to enhance process quality and efficiency.
  • Follow a strict production schedule to ensure timely and accurate processing of products.
  • Maintain rigorous sanitation practices throughout the facility.
  • Undertake other tasks as directed by the Director of Processing to facilitate smooth operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or General Education Development (GED) is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in order entry, picking, labeling, packaging, or customer service roles.
  • Strong computer, mathematical, language, and reasoning skills.
  • Prior experience in the medical cannabis sector is preferred.
  • Ability to perform desk-based computer tasks consistently.
  • Capability to occasionally twist, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, and sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Effective oral communication skills with management and colleagues; regular use of telephone and email may be necessary.
  • Normal hearing and vision are essential for effective communication and document preparation.
  • Ability to lift heavy items; occasional exertion of up to 50 lbs. may be required.
  • Good manual dexterity for operating common office equipment.
  • Comfortable with operating and troubleshooting label printing equipment.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
