Safety Verifier Job Description

At Perdue Farms, we're committed to becoming the most trusted name in premium proteins. As a Safety Verifier, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our facilities meet the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily inspections of all plant areas to identify and report unsafe acts and conditions.
  • Evaluate the ramp-in and ergonomic program for accuracy and provide training to associates as needed.
  • Support food safety-related concerns and report to HACCP/QA.
  • Participate in corporate safety audits and BRC audits annually.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • At least 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer within the past 3 years.
  • Experience in poultry processing/manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Bilingual strongly preferred.
Work Environment:

You'll work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures, humidity levels, and noise exposure. You'll be required to wear protective equipment and follow safety protocols at all times.
