Job Overview

VNA Health Group is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to fill the role of Hospice Nurse Manager. This position is responsible for overseeing the delivery of hospice services, ensuring they align with patient needs and program requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oncology and hospice nursing, with experience in managing clinical and support staff. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as the candidate will be working closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the delivery of hospice services, ensuring they meet patient needs and program requirements.
  • Manage clinical and support staff, conducting performance evaluations and monitoring productivity.
  • Collaborate with Quality and Staff Development staff to assess training needs and develop education programs.
  • Take appropriate corrective action to address any issues impacting team clinical or financial outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and VNA Health Group policies.

Requirements:

  • RN with BSN; oncology/hospice and palliative care certification preferred.
  • 2-3 years experience with community health oncology/hospice nursing preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
