Job Summary

SYNERGY HomeCare of Vancouver is seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Care Assistant to provide non-medical care and support to our clients in their own homes. As a Home Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide companionship and social engagement to clients, including conversation, reading, and other activities
  • Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, family members, and co-workers
  • Ensure reliable and punctual care

Requirements
  • 1 year minimum of caregiving experience
  • Valid WA State CNA, HCA, or NAR license
  • Food handler card and CPR/First Aid certifications within 30 days of hire
  • Auto insurance and driver's license (preferred)
  • TB test within 30 days of hire
