Job Summary

This part-time Clinical Dietitian role is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients.

As a Clinical Dietitian, you will evaluate nutrition risk criteria, assess nutritional status, and develop and implement plans of nutrition care based on evidence-based practice and diagnosis-related care guidelines.

You will also review current nutrition publications and research, adapt findings to nutrition care practice, and develop patient education materials.

Responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating patient outcome and progress toward achieving nutrition goals
  • Revising intervention and/or education plans
  • Serving as a nutrition specialist and resource to physicians, healthcare departments, allied health professionals, and accredited nutrition programs
  • Preparing written outcome-oriented documentation for the patient's medical record
  • Researching, developing, and implementing patient nutrition care protocols and educational materials
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's Degree in Nutrition or a related field (or a Bachelor's degree grandfathered prior to 2024)
  • Current registration by the Commission on Dietetics Registration
