Full-Time Weekend Nursing Professional

At Liberty Hospice, we prioritize delivering exceptional care to our patients and their families facing terminal illness. Our team of specially trained staff is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art care and pain management services with an emphasis on compassion, strength, and dignity.
Job Overview- This role requires a registered nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care and coordinate physical care with the family, patient, physician, and hospice team.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of clinical nursing experience and one year of hospice nursing experience. A working knowledge of nursing theories and concepts, as well as current licensure in the state of practice, are also essential.
Key Responsibilities- Document patient care that meets reimbursement guidelines
- Attend and participate in interdisciplinary team (IDT) meetings and quality reviews as scheduled by the agency
- Coordinate physical care of the patient with family, patient, physician, and hospice team
We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $100,000 per year, depending on experience. Additional benefits include travel opportunities based on agency need and weekend/evening and holiday call assignments.
Requirements- Current RN licensure in the state of practice
- Successful completion of a nursing education from an approved school of nursing
- At least two years of clinical nursing experience
- One year of hospice nursing experience preferred
