Job Summary:

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is seeking a passionate and experienced Therapist to join our team as a Clinical Therapist in our Neighborhood Center for Families Program. As a Therapist, you will provide critical intervention to families in crisis, working directly with children, adolescents, and families to assess clients, formulate individualized treatment plans, and provide intensive services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide therapy to children and families in a community-based setting
  • Assess clients and formulate individualized multidisciplinary treatment plans
  • Consult with and train parents on therapeutic interventions and behavioral programs
  • Work with treatment team members and case managers to provide on-call telephone support for crisis and emergency situations

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in the field of counseling, social work, or psychology
  • Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker, Mental Health Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Florida
  • Two years' experience working directly with children, adolescents, and families or related experience working under the direct supervision of a licensed clinician
  • Valid Driver's license
  • Ability to complete a three-day new hire orientation class
  • Ability to meet clients in a community setting
