About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Crew Leader to join our team at Long Brothers Landscaping. As a Crew Leader, you will be responsible for supervising a crew of landscape maintenance professionals while on the job site, ensuring they work safely and efficiently to deliver high-quality results on time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and train crew members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Plan, assign, and direct work to ensure projects are completed on schedule and to the required standard.
  • Manage and maintain equipment and materials to ensure they are in good working order and available for use when needed.
  • Address and resolve customer issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Report directly to the Operations Manager and provide regular updates on crew performance and project progress.
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years of professional landscape maintenance experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current State Technician and/or Applicator license preferred but not required.
  • General knowledge of irrigation systems and horticultural practices.

Work Environment

As a Crew Leader at Long Brothers Landscaping, you will work outdoors in all weather conditions, including cold, heat, and temperature swings. You will be exposed to hazardous equipment with moving mechanical parts, excessive noise from machines, and uneven terrain. You may also be exposed to nature, including irritating plants and biting or stinging insects.
