- Required Experience:

Role Overview (Cloud Security SME)
A qualified candidate will collaborate with the program security team to ensure comprehensive security measures are in place, including but not limited to the following responsibilities:
- Provide advanced expertise in the Risk Management Framework to support NIST SP HHM systems throughout the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process.
- Develop detailed and complete security documentation, such as System Security Plans (SSPs), Plans of Actions and Milestones (POA&Ms), and other artifacts necessary for the Body of Evidence (BOE) for sponsor approval.
- Identify and implement security controls, collaborating with engineering, development, and testing teams to create appropriate test plans and procedures.
- Conduct security audit reviews to ensure audit records are collected and assessed.
- Coordinate all security testing activities, liaising with external assessment teams and technical personnel.
- Configure and manage various AWS services to enhance the security posture of the system.
- Proven technical skills and analytical capabilities, with experience in system security analysis and risk management.
- Experience with security protocols in the Amazon Web Services environment.
- Ability to perform complex technical tasks towards achieving overall objectives with minimal supervision.
- Experience in translating system and application knowledge into security test plans and conducting hands-on security assessments.
- Familiarity with risk management methodologies.
- Capability to analyze test outcomes and propose mitigations for identified security issues.
- Technical experience in system configuration, development, and design, particularly with enterprise systems and hypervisors.
- Proficiency with Linux and virtual platforms.
- Documented experience collaborating with public and private information security organizations.
- Ability to communicate vulnerability findings and risk posture effectively to senior management.
Possess a comprehensive understanding of Information Security policies and guidelines, along with the capability to assist in researching, evaluating, and formulating relevant security policies and guidance.
