Role Summary

The Financial Records Manager will be responsible for the preparation and upkeep of financial documentation to monitor the organization's assets, liabilities, income and expenses, tax obligations, and other financial activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify the accuracy of entries in the general ledger and subsidiary accounts.
  • Maintain comprehensive financial records for the organization.
  • Prepare and input standard journal entries.
  • Process payroll for additional business operations.
  • Analyze costs and revenue streams.
  • Compile financial information for assessment and review.
  • Conduct moderately complex calculations using spreadsheet or software tools.
  • Reconcile accounts and bank statements.
  • Assist in the review of monthly sales tax transactions.
  • Engage in special projects as required.
  • Provide support and assistance to the Accounting department.
  • Perform other assigned duties.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Fundamental understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
  • Proficient in operating a 10-key calculator.
  • Familiarity with accounting software.
  • Experience with Excel, including the use of formulas, vlookup, and other common functions.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal communication abilities.
Education and Experience:
  • Associate's degree in a relevant field, or 1-3 years of equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks over extended periods.
  • Majority of the workday spent seated at a desk in front of a computer.
  • Must be able to communicate via soft phone.
