Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist II to join our Inpatient Acute Rehabilitation team at the University of Maryland Medical System. As a key member of our team, you will provide advanced physical therapy services to patients with functional limitations, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient evaluations and treatments, including advanced physical therapy services.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, setting goals and objectives for patient care.
  • Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective patient outcomes.
  • Conduct training and mentorship sessions for staff and students, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Manage team operations in the absence of the Senior Physical Therapist, ensuring continuity of care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or related field, plus five years of experience, or Master's Degree or Doctorate in PT.
  • Current Maryland physical therapist licensure and CPR certification.
  • Two years of full-time Acute Rehab Physical Therapist experience.
