Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Rotolo's Youngsville. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food products that meet our guests' expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the quality of all food products served, adhering to our standards and procedures.
- Stock and maintain inventory levels to prevent stockouts and minimize waste.
- Portion food products accurately and efficiently, following standard portion sizes and recipe specifications.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Follow proper plate presentation and garnish setup for all dishes.
- Handle, store, and rotate products properly to ensure freshness and quality.
- Assist fellow kitchen staff as needed, providing support during peak periods.
- Participate in food prep assignments during off-peak periods, contributing to the smooth operation of the kitchen.
- Close and open the kitchen properly, following established checklists and procedures.
- Attend scheduled employee meetings, bringing suggestions for improvement.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with all colleagues.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisors.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
- Basic knowledge of kitchen procedures and functions.
- Phone skills and ability to understand the Point of Sale system.
- Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods.
- Capacity to safely lift and maneuver up to 50lbs of product.
