About the Role

We are eager to welcome a Level 2 Miner Maintenance Technician to our expanding Miner Maintenance Team. This role involves advanced diagnostics and repairs for all miners on-site, as well as compiling reports for management review. You will provide direct support to our Miner Maintenance Team.

Essential Functions
  • Conduct advanced diagnostic and repair procedures for all miners, including power supply diagnostics, control board assessments, firmware updates, and escalated board ticket repairs.
  • Compile reports on all non-hashing machines within your designated area.
  • Oversee the commissioning of new miner installations.
  • Identify and report network outages to the Assistant Supervisor.
  • Assist in maintaining an inventory of parts and tools through a checkout procedure.
  • Lead the tracking of inventory in compliance with company standards.
  • Contribute to Research & Development initiatives.
  • Provide training to Tier 1 Technicians.
  • Create heat maps of immersion tanks to diagnose overheating issues.
  • Operate a scissor lift at heights up to 20 feet for the installation and maintenance of Bitcoin miners.
  • Maintain the operational integrity of Bitcoin miners.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Exceptional multitasking capabilities.
  • Ability to perform under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Capacity to promptly address significant errors in the Data Center related to the Miner Maintenance team.
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and production monitoring software.
  • Experience in computer troubleshooting and repair is essential.
  • Familiarity with networking troubleshooting.
  • Ability to diagnose basic machine failures.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capability to work at heights using lifts and ladders.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Schedule
  • 12-hour shifts.
  • Availability for holidays.
  • Night and overnight shifts.
  • Weekend work as needed.
