You take initiative, you are self-sufficient, and you are detail focused.About the roleWe are looking to add a Miner Maintenance Technician 1 to our growing Miner Maintenance Department. As a Miner Maintenance Technician 1, you will be responsible for repairing and troubleshooting Bitcoin miners. This on-site position will directly support our miner maintenance operations at our Rockdale, TX location. Essential FunctionsPerform basic diagnostic techniques to all miners on-site.Perform basic repair techniques to all miners on-site.Assist in keeping inventory of miners, parts, and tools.Find IP addresses of all new machines that are being installed into shelves.Provide complete information for work orders to be submitted to supervisor.Keep the miner repair room and work area clean and organized.Craft new RJ-45 connections.Be confident when reciting terminology that is relevant in the industry. Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesExcellent multitasking skills.Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.Excellent problem-solving skills.Detail-oriented and highly organized.Ability to bring attention clearly and promptly to any major errors in the Data Center that involve the Miner Maintenance team.Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED or relevant experience.Experience with Networking and Computer troubleshooting is preferred.Computer literacy is required.Miner repair/Operator Certifications are a plus. On-the-job training and development is provided. Schedule12 hour shift. Holidays. Night shift. Overnight shift. Weekends as needed.
