Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Water and Wastewater Engineer to join our team at DOWL. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing water and wastewater treatment systems, as well as providing technical expertise to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop water and wastewater treatment systems, including treatment plants, pipelines, and storage facilities.
  • Provide technical expertise to clients, including site visits, equipment selection, and design system unit processes.
  • Coordinate with government agencies and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
  • Prepare plans, specifications, and estimated costs for project bidding and construction.
  • Exercise sound judgment and apply technical expertise to project decisions.
  • Mentor and train junior engineers and technicians.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
  • 10 years of experience in water and wastewater engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in a lead or senior role.
  • PE license required.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with software such as Autodesk, MicroStation, and WaterCAD.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations, including AWWA, NFPA, and EPA.
