Responsibilities
As an automotive technician with our team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on various vehicles. This includes but is not limited to:
- Diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Tire and tire repair services
- Car heating and air conditioning systems
- Steering and suspension repairs
- Belts and hoses replacements
- Radiator and engine cooling system maintenance
- Battery and starting system repairs
- Brake and brake repair services
- Oil changes and maintenance
- Check engine light diagnosis and repair
- Muffler and exhaust services
- Visual safety and courtesy inspections
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following qualifications:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of automotive brakes, exhaust, suspension, and engine diagnostics
- High personal productivity and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Knowledge of and adherence to safety and environmental standards for repair facilities
- Experience using shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines, and scan tools
- High School Diploma or equivalent, technical degree a plus
- State-specific auto repair certifications
- Valid driver's license and ability to service both foreign and domestic vehicles
