Job Title: Nurse Practitioner/APN-Fort Wayne

Job Summary:

Nephrology Associates of is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our clinical team in Fort Wayne. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with our healthcare professionals, and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive physical assessments, diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic health problems.
  • Order laboratory and radiology tests, interpret results, and manage treatment accordingly.
  • Prescribe medications, including controlled substances, within the scope of practice.
  • Provide patient education, health maintenance, and promotion.
  • Support clinical functions, prepare patients for examination, treatment, or procedures, and document all interactions.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Nursing or Science of Nursing.
  • Current Nurse Practitioner Certification from AANP or ANCC.
  • Current Nursing License as a Registered Nurse and Certified Nurse Practitioner.
  • ACLS, BLS, and DEA certification.
  • 3+ years of experience as a practicing Certified Nurse Practitioner, with prior experience in Nephrology, Cardiology, ICU, or CCU preferred.
  • Excellent time management skills, ability to multi-task, and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-started with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Patient-focused with strong communication and organizational skills.
