Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures, including setting up equipment and supplies.
  • Maintain a sterile environment, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
  • Assist the surgeon during procedures, passing instruments and supplies as needed.
  • Provide patient care, following established hospital policies and procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Surgical Technology or related field.
  • 1+ year of experience in a surgical setting, preferably in a hospital or surgical center.
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA) preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
