Job Summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Nurse to join our Orthopedic team at Franklin Medical Offices. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our medical staff to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Obtain and review patient medical histories, perform physical examinations, and review relevant laboratory or radiologic studies to assess patient medical, physical, psychological, and socio-economic status.
  • Formulate accurate and appropriate diagnoses based on elicited data and develop treatment plans aligned with the practice preferences of collaborating physicians.
  • Provide patient education and counseling on treatment plans, disease prevention, and health promotion.
  • Document all examination data, diagnostic impressions, and patient care activities in the medical record.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care and maintain a physically safe and confidential environment.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing or Bachelor's degree in a related field with a strong foundation in orthopedic care.
  • Current licensure and certification as a Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Nurse in the state of Colorado.
  • Basic Life Support certification within 3 months of hire.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of professionalism and compassion.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Orthopedic experience or certified subspecialized training in Orthopedics.
  • Ability to read orthopedic x-rays and perform large joint injections and aspirations.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position with a variable schedule, including weekends and holidays. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and maintain a high level of professionalism and compassion in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
