Job Summary

This is a per diem opportunity for a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with other healthcare teams to achieve optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Implement physician orders and administer medications as required.
  • Assess and evaluate patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered.
  • Apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
  • Provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients.
  • Direct and guide ancillary personnel and maintain standards of professional nursing.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current RN license in the state of New York.
  • Experience working in a hospital setting, preferably in medical/surgical or critical care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
