At Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Scientist to join our team. This role is responsible for leading the development, coordination, implementation, evaluation, and dissemination of nursing research activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement evidence-based nursing research initiatives to improve patient outcomes and quality of care.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership, executives, and nurses to develop, implement, and sustain high-impact initiatives.
- Conduct research and quality improvement projects to identify best practices and improve patient care.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to advance nursing research and practice.
- Provide education and training to nursing staff on research methods, evidence-based practice, and quality improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in nursing and healthcare.
- Bachelor's and Master's degree, one of which must be in nursing.
- Doctoral degree in a medical field.
- Five years of clinical nursing experience.
- Registered Nurse licensure in Texas or Compact State.
- ANCC Recognized Certification within 1 year.
