About the Opportunity

Oxford Instruments is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Support Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our customers, ensuring their instruments are operating at optimal levels and resolving any technical issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and on-site visits
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with instrumentation and equipment
  • Install and commission new instrumentation and equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration of instrumentation and equipment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues
Requirements
  • 3-6 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in a laboratory or instrumentation environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of electron microscopy and X-ray analysis instrumentation
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Validated English language skills
