About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled AI/ML Expert in High Performance Computing to join our team at Los Alamos National Laboratory. As a scientist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing advanced computing solutions to support our scientific research.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high performance computing, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. You will work closely with our team to design, implement, and maintain complex computing systems, as well as develop and deploy AI/ML models to support our research goals.

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain high-performance computing systems to support scientific research.
  • Develop and deploy AI/ML models to support research goals.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Contribute to the development of technical documentation and guides.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A master's degree in a STEM field (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) or related field.
  • At least 6 years of experience in high-performance computing, AI/ML, or a related field.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, and Java.
  • Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $122,300-206,300 per year, based on your qualifications and experience.
