Coastline Equipment is seeking a Rental Developer to enhance our operations. This role is pivotal in fostering relationships with both existing and prospective rental clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain personal connections with current and potential rental clientele.
- Act as an expert in product knowledge and application.
- Exhibit a thorough understanding of departmental policies and procedures.
- Facilitate efficient pick-up and delivery processes while routinely inspecting rental units.
- Conduct daily follow-ups with customers regarding previous rentals.
- Manage customer call lists effectively.
- Complete and submit detailed call reports.
- Provide timely insights regarding market trends and competitor activities.

Required Qualifications:
- Familiarity with equipment and competitors in the rental industry.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Able to perform under pressure while managing multiple deadlines.
- Exhibit cooperative behavior with Sales, Service, and Rental Departments, as well as colleagues and management.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Physical capability to engage in phone conversations and lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely climb on and off machinery.
- Forklift operation experience.
- Experience with office equipment and software.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum age of 25 due to insurance stipulations.

- Serve as a role model in personal character, commitment, organization, and operational skills.
- Maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with customers and colleagues.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be capable of driving and traveling in a vehicle.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
