Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at Fresenius Medical Care North America. As a key member of our radiology team, you will be responsible for assisting physicians in performing interventional radiology procedures, operating and maintaining radiological equipment, and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians in performing interventional radiology procedures, including preparing patients, setting up equipment, and maintaining a sterile environment.

• Operate and maintain radiological equipment, including C-Arm and ultrasound equipment, to ensure optimal performance and safety.

• Prepare and organize supplies and equipment to prevent waste and ensure efficient use.

• Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and restocking equipment.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.

• Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure all necessary instruments and equipment are available for procedures.

• Maintain accurate and complete medical records, including patient data and procedure documentation.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree desirable; and Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.

• Current ARRT Certification and/or State Licensure (as per state regulations)

• Interventions Radiology certificate preferred.

• 4 – 6 years' related experience desirable.

• 1 year experience preferred for Candidates with ARRT.

• Working knowledge of interventional equipment (including C-Arm and Ultrasound equipment).

• Experience with interventional procedures, using/ordering/maintaining required materials/supplies for each procedure.

• Knowledge and experience of sterile techniques.

• Knowledge of universal precautions and personal protective devices to be utilized when operating radiology systems.

• Successfully complete BLS certification.

• Experience with monitoring and maintaining inventory.

• Proficient in the use of computers and related software such as Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
