Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at Fresenius Medical Care North America. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting physicians in performing interventional radiology procedures, operating and maintaining radiological equipment, and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians in performing interventional radiology procedures, including preparing patients, setting up equipment, and maintaining a sterile environment.
  • Operate and maintain radiological equipment, including C-Arm and ultrasound equipment, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information, including medical records and billing.
  • Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree desirable; and Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred.
  • Current ARRT Certification and/or State Licensure (as per state regulations).
  • Interventional Radiology certificate preferred.
  • 4 – 6 years' related experience desirable.
  • 1 year experience preferred for Candidates with ARRT.
Working Conditions

The work environment is characteristic of a health care facility with air temperature control and moderate noise levels. May be exposed to infectious and contagious diseases/materials. Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds and to perform patient transfers and positioning of patients.
