Job Overview:
Mafla is in search of an enthusiastic and skilled individual to join our World Languages and Classical Studies team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Latin at various high school levels, utilizing a proficiency-based instructional approach.

We are looking for someone who can create a classroom atmosphere that promotes a passion for language acquisition and celebrates cultural diversity.

Additionally, the ideal applicant should be proficient in using Google Suite and other educational technologies, familiar with the proficiency Standards for Classical Language Learning, and capable of working independently while collaborating effectively with fellow educators.


Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 36 semester hours in relevant teaching areas is required;
Licensure in Latin and Classical Humanities is necessary;
Preferred candidates will also hold a license to teach an additional World Language (such as French, Spanish, or Mandarin);
Experience as a teacher, student teacher, intern, or apprentice in the field within the last five years is essential;
Experience in diverse educational settings is preferred;
Commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse learning environment;
