At Apple Rehab Cromwell, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for planning, overseeing, and executing nursing services for our residents while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day nursing activities to guarantee residents receive top-quality care consistently.
- Collaborate with the Nursing Director to strategize nursing service operations and emergency support provisions for shifts.
- Manage and direct charge nurses to ensure residents receive proper care.
- Adjust care plans in collaboration with medical staff to address emergency medical needs.
- Ensure adequate relief staff availability before leaving the facility and notify residents' personal physicians in case of significant changes in their condition or immediate medical care needs.
Requirements:
- A current state RN license and be a Registered Nurse in good standing.
- Previous experience in a supervisory capacity.
- Attention to detail, good follow-through skills, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Ability to work as a team and demonstrate cooperation in assisting others.
- Long-term care experience preferred.
