Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HVAC Mechanic to join our team at Northwell Health. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing senior-level functions in our air conditioning shop, including control of heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and automated alarm systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform senior functions relating to the HVAC Shop for various assignments throughout the facility.
  • Conduct periodic maintenance work on all equipment in the Air Conditioning Shop.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other staff to ensure departmental outcomes are achieved.
  • Perform emergency repairs and respond to emergency situations in conjunction with other trades.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of all power saws, pipe cutting machines, grinders, and specialty tools.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience required.
Salary and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $45.28-$50.23/hour. Northwell Health offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan and paid time off.
