Aquatics Instructor

Job Description:

As a Swimming Coach at Northern Kentucky University, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our students and community members by teaching them essential water safety skills and promoting a lifelong love of swimming.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging and effective swim lesson plans for groups and individuals">
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to ensure they meet their goals">
• Collaborate with the Coordinator of Aquatics to plan and deliver aquatic programs and events">
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and certifications">

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A minimum of 1 year teaching swim lessons or team teaching with another experienced instructor for at least 2-4 sessions">
• Water Safety Instructor certification or equivalent is preferred but not required">
• Lifeguard certification">
