El candidato ideal mostrará compasión y deseo de trabajar con personas mayores.
Un Día Típico:
- Asegurar que los menús y la disposición de la mesa sean los adecuados.
- Preparar la estación de espera y completar las tareas de apertura asignadas.
- Almacenar y ensamblar los condimentos, productos secos y otros elementos necesarios para el servicio de comidas.
- Organizar y ensamblar bandejas de servicio de comidas precisas.
- Comprender y cumplir con las necesidades dietéticas especiales de los residentes.
- Servir alimentos y bebidas a los residentes de manera profesional.
- Mantener la limpieza del comedor y las áreas de servicio en todo momento, de acuerdo con las pautas de salud.
- Completar las tareas de cierre asignadas.
- Se prefiere diploma de secundaria o equivalente.
- Se prefiere experiencia previa en servicio de alimentos.
- Se prefiere experiencia previa trabajando o interactuando con una población de personas mayores.
- Edad mínima de dieciocho (18) años.
- Apariencia profesional y excelentes habilidades interpersonales para la interacción diaria con residentes, familias, compañeros de trabajo y el público.
- Capacidad para leer, escribir, hablar y entender inglés.
- Capacidad para comunicarse de manera clara y efectiva, tanto verbalmente como por escrito.
- Capacidad para realizar múltiples tareas y atender a varios clientes al mismo tiempo.
- Capacidad para agacharse, doblarse, arrodillarse, encorvarse y levantar y/o cargar pesos de hasta 50 libras.
