Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cytotechnologist to join our dedicated team at Westerly Hospital. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two years of experience in cytology, demonstrating proficiency in diagnostic techniques and patient care.

Certification Requirements
  • AHA Certifications: Required
  • ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • BLS: Basic Life Support
  • PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support
  • NRP: Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
  • CHEMO: Chemotherapy (Preferred, not mandatory)
  • TNCC: Trauma Nursing Core Course (varies by location)
  • EFM: Electronic Fetal Monitoring
  • Tech Cert Verification: National
  • Acknowledgement of Pass/Fail Testing
  • State License 1 Verification
  • NURSYS Verification: RN, LPN/LVN, AP
  • NIH Stroke Certification
  • Pass/Fail Testing: EKG/Medication
  • CPI: Crisis Prevention Institute
  • Medication Test: Pharmacology Competency Exam
  • Color Blind Testing: Online
  • Competency Exam
  • Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam
  • Always verify the Unit Description for required certifications when qualifying.
Job Details

The position requires a dedicated Cytology Technician with a minimum of two years of experience. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
