Key Responsibilities- Provide multi-skilled maintenance and electrical support to ensure customer satisfaction, quality, cost, and productivity in a TPM and CI environment.
- Understand, troubleshoot, and problem-solve issues of basic complexity in advanced electrical and mechanical systems, including PLCs, drives, servo systems, HMI, CNC, and more.
- Test and perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is running efficiently and effectively.
- Understand basic operation and use of electrical test equipment, including current, voltage, and resistance measurements.
- Understand electrical arc flash protection code requirements and basic electrical circuits.
- Understand the basic function of PLCs, drives, and controls.
- Understand types of conduit and conduit fittings.
- Demonstrate the ability to cut, bend, and install pipe.
- Understand, maintain, and troubleshoot AC and DC motors and drives.
- Maintain and troubleshoot basic motor branch circuits.
- Use electrical test equipment to measure current, voltage, and resistance.
- Understand the trouble-shooting process for electrical equipment and electrical systems.
- Basic troubleshoot PLCs, drives, HMI.
- 3-5 years of equivalent past work experience.
- Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) experience.
- Basic PC skills (MS Windows).
- Ability to work in a team environment and self-direct activities.
- Strong customer focus.
- Continued technical training required each year.
