Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at GovCIO. As a key member of our Project Management Office (PMO), you will play a crucial role in supporting our client's procurement activities.

About the Role:
  • Work closely with the Director of Business Operations to ensure timely and accurate procurement activities across all year-round procurements.
  • Assist in preparing deliverables, including information and status reports on active, upcoming, and projected Requests for Information (RFIs), Technical Assistance Requests (TARs), costs, deadlines, etc.
  • Participate in discovery meetings with program leads, Technical Points of Contact (TPOCs), and government stakeholders to prepare for upcoming procurements.
  • Implement purchasing processes consistent with the Terms of Order (TO) requirements, Cost Performance Status Report (CPSR) requirements, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requirements, and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA)/Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) practices.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft and submit Requests for Information (RFIs) for review and approval via approved systems.
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain Team on all active and projected activities to manage property accountability, license acceptance, maintain status updates, and inventory of licenses and maintenance.
  • Work with the GovCIO Program Control Team to support accruals, customer cost projections, internal cost accounting requirements, including completion of goods receipt and collaboration with finance regarding invoicing.
  • Assist in tracking all active and projected procurement and travel activities against available CLIN funding.
  • Interface with corporate resources for entry and submission of purchase requisitions for approval and track all purchase order submissions to vendors.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years relevant experience, preferably in Supply Chain and/or Procurement as a government contractor.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate professionally.
  • Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, have great attention to detail, and be able to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Costpoint.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Working Capital Fund experience.
