Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Specialist to join our team in the State of New Mexico Family Planning Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering contractual documents, coordinating contract monitoring, and providing training and technical assistance to contractors.

About the Role

This position is an exciting opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for public health services. As a Contract Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with Title X regulations, procurement codes, licensing requirements, billing codes, and required reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and oversee contractual tasks, including Professional Services Contracts, Requests for Proposals, and Provider Agreements.
  • Provide training and technical assistance to Family Planning Program staff and contractors on procedures and policies for Professional Services Contracts, Requests for Proposals, and Provider Agreements.
  • Establish and process documents according to State, Department of Health, and Public Health Division procurement guidelines.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel spreadsheets and pivot tables.
  • Strong communication and writing skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently, with a positive, team-oriented, and supportive attitude.
