Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Audiovisual Technician to join our team at Compass Group USA and contribute to the day-to-day functions of our audiovisual office in alignment with established company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Assist with Microsoft Teams and broadcasting/streaming activities, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality results.
  • Effectively manage day-to-day operations, adhering to company procedures and protocols.
  • Timely and accurate setup and strike of equipment for client functions, ensuring a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Continuously enhance audiovisual skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Foster team knowledge and cohesion through collaborative learning and knowledge sharing.
  • Provide and receive mentoring as needed, promoting a culture of growth and development.
  • Maintain positive public relations with clients and stakeholders, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.
  • Uphold positive employee relations, strong team-player orientation, and communication standards, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Utilize company business software efficiently, ensuring accurate and timely data entry and management.
  • Maintain a high level of professional appearance, demeanor, ethics, and self-image, reflecting the values and standards of Compass Group USA.
  • Plan effectively for upcoming tasks, demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills, finding effective solutions to complex issues and challenges.
  • Travel to different locations to provide customized support, ensuring a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
  • Perform other related duties as required or assigned, contributing to the success and growth of the team and organization.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum of one year's experience in the AV industry, with a strong background in audiovisual setups and strikes.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with AV systems, including Crestron, Biamp, and other in-room systems.
  • Understanding of signal flows and network protocols, ensuring seamless integration and execution.
  • Background in customer service or hospitality, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Certification in AV technology or related courses, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Audio and Video equipment, with experience in video post-production and streaming.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Teams and streaming, with intermediate troubleshooting knowledge and skills.
  • Ability to work long hours on your feet, with consistent ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including early AM and late PM shifts.
  • Authorization to work in the United States, with a valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
