We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Professional Staff Nurse to join our team at UPMC Hamot's PACU. As a Casual Nurse, you will have the flexibility to choose your shifts and work at your own pace.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and support to patients and families in the PACU
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication
  • Participate in unit-based shared governance and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with colleagues, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in the state where the facility is located
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • ICU or IU experience
  • 1+ year of experience as a Professional Staff Nurse
