Responsibilities:

As a Safety and Security Specialist, you will:

  • Conduct security operations, including electronic monitoring and systematic manual patrols.
  • Coordinate facility responses to various potential issues affecting patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Enforce policies and procedures, ensuring fair application across the board.
  • Adhere to guidelines and continuous monitoring practices to foster a secure workplace for employees and a safe care environment.
  • Collaborate with the Environment of Care committee to ensure a comprehensive approach to security and safety.
  • Engage in employee awareness and educational initiatives.
  • Drive as necessary for company-related activities.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING:

  • Prior experience in healthcare security or a related field is preferred.
  • Possession of a State Guard Certification Registration Card.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Facility Specific Requirements:

  • State Driver's License upon hire.
  • Current DMV H6 report or Driving History Report.
