We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Acadia Healthcare. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook food according to approved menus and recipes
- Direct and supervise food preparation and serving activities
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, appliances, and work areas to ensure cleanliness and safety
- Conduct inventory of food supplies and equipment
- Collaborate with food service leadership and dietitians to develop and implement menus that meet nutritional and quality standards
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company policies
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in the culinary field preferred
- Two or more years of experience in food service, preferably in an institutional setting
- ServSafe certification or similar food safety certification required
