Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at the Defense Health Agency. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct biopsychosocial evaluations and assess patients' cognitive, emotional, and psychological status.
  • Provide individual and group treatment, including brief problem-focused interventions, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and psychoeducational classes.
  • Consult with primary care and specialty clinic providers regarding psychological treatment options to optimize health outcomes.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to address patients' behavioral health needs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients.
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology.
  • Current, active, valid, and unrestricted clinical license to practice psychology independently offered by a U.S. State, District of Columbia, Commonwealth, territory, or jurisdiction.
  • One year of specialized experience in conducting biopsychosocial evaluations, assessing patients' cognitive, emotional, and psychological status, and providing individual and group treatment.
