About the Role

MRG Exams, a leading independent medical examination service provider, is seeking a part-time Optometrist to conduct comprehensive eye exams on United States Veterans as part of the VA's Specialized Health Assessment (SHA) process.

Responsibilities
  • Review medical health records through a secure web portal and perform comprehensive eye exams on each veteran.
  • Complete forms through the web portal after each exam, submitting them within 24 hours.
Requirements
  • A current license to practice as an Optometrist in Louisiana.
  • Ability to perform Visual Field Testing (VFT).
  • Meet the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
Benefits
  • This is a part-time position with the potential to review and assess 3-6 Veterans per day.
  • The role will be brought on as a 1099 Independent Contractor.

As an Optometrist with MRG Exams, you will have the opportunity to serve Veterans in your community while maintaining a work-life balance.
