Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Technician / Mechanic to join our team at Randstad. As a Hydraulic Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing various hydraulic and pneumatic components, including cylinders, pumps, motors, and valves.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service and repair hydraulic and pneumatic components, including cylinders, pumps, motors, and valves.
  • Tear down, inspect, and identify parts to be replaced or repaired to bring components back to manufacturer specifications.
  • Diagnose problems and provide repair recommendations.
  • Inspect parts and components to determine if they are within specifications.
  • Assemble and test components according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Test repaired units using manufacturer test specifications.
  • Make necessary adjustments to repaired units.
  • Use precision measuring devices, such as calipers, micrometers, bore indicators, and dial indicators.
  • Operate lathes, milling machines, drill presses, hydraulic presses, hone machines, and similar equipment.
  • Write clear and precise repair instructions for machinists and other technicians.
  • Basic computer skill proficiency.
  • Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in hydraulic and pneumatic service and repair.
  • Fluid Power Associate's Degree or equivalent technical training preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read hydraulic schematics.
  • Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Valid driver's license.
