Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fitter/Fabricator to join our team at Aerotek. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for fabricating silencers using carbon steel, working closely with our clients to deliver high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fabricate silencers using carbon steel, adhering to strict quality control standards.
  • Fit shells together, attach lifting supports/legs onto rolled plates, fit and weld caps onto pipes, and fit up flanges and nozzles onto materials.
  • Burn out holes, clean them, bevel, and square up materials as required.
  • Perform light welding using MIG and flux techniques, operating various fabrication machines such as presses, punches, saws, and torches as needed.
  • Read and interpret prints, perform basic math calculations, and ensure accurate measurements.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in fabrication, fitting, and welding.
  • Strong understanding of fabrication processes, materials, and equipment.
