Job Overview

Knight Wall Systems is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our team. As a key player in our organization, you will serve as a technical liaison between customers and the company, working closely with sales and engineering teams to ensure seamless order coordination and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide customers through the order process, setting clear expectations and coordinating requirements for deliverables, including material, engineering, and submittal documentation.
  • Request and retrieve necessary forms, documents, and information to set up new customer accounts or process orders for material or engineering.
  • Enter customer and project information into the ERP/CRM system (Epicor).
  • Work with customers to ensure a thorough understanding of the product specified and estimated for the project.
  • Respond to customer inquiries or concerns regarding project-specific applications, details, or order status.
  • Collaborate with engineering to resolve customer questions.
  • Support outside sales representatives in closing sales and initiating the order process.
  • Provide intermediate-level technical support to outside sales teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architectural, Engineering, Construction Management, or Construction Engineering Management (or related field) and/or equivalent work experience in a related field.
  • 2-3 years of prior Project Manager experience in the commercial construction or manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with a preference for using formulas, lookups, and equations in Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to professionally communicate with outside sales representatives, architects, engineers, and contractors.
  • Good mechanical/technical aptitude, with the ability to read and navigate blueprints, technical drawings, construction drawings, and specifications.
  • Understanding of construction contracts, processes, and typical general requirements is a plus.
  • Experience working with multiple customers simultaneously, often with time constraints and schedule-driven projects.
