Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Incident Manager to join our team at Node. Digital. As a Cybersecurity Incident Manager, you will be responsible for leading the incident response efforts to identify, contain, and resolve cybersecurity incidents. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Correlate incident data to identify trends and patterns in reported incidents
  • Recommend defense-in-depth principles and practices to enhance our security posture
  • Perform incident triage to determine scope, urgency, and potential impact
  • Research and compile known resolution steps or workarounds to enable mitigation of potential incidents
  • Apply cybersecurity concepts to detect and defend against intrusions into our IT networks
  • Monitor external data sources to maintain currency of threat conditions and determine potential security issues
  • Identify the cause of an incident and recognize key elements to ask external entities when learning the background and potential infection vector
  • Receive and analyze network alerts from various sources and determine possible causes
  • Track and document incidents from initial detection through final resolution
Requirements
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Active TS/SCI clearance
  • DHS Suitability
  • 5+ years of directly relevant experience in cyber incident management or cybersecurity operations
  • Knowledge of incident response and handling methodologies
  • Familiarity with NIST and FISMA standards
  • Knowledge of the NCCIC National Cyber Incident Scoring System
  • Knowledge of general attack stages and system administration techniques
  • Knowledge of different operational threat environments
Desired Skills
  • Knowledge of system and application security threats and vulnerabilities
Education

BS in Incident Management, Operations Management, Cybersecurity, or related field. HS Diploma with 7-9 years of incident management or cybersecurity experience.

Certifications

GCIH, GCFA, GISP, GCED, CCFP, or CISSP.
