Job Summary:

Hartford Healthcare (HHC) is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our critical care team. As a critical care Physician Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive and specialized care to critically ill patients. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment with a team of experienced healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine physical examinations and formulate medical plans to treat patients
  • Develop plans for further evaluation of health needs, including referrals to other healthcare team members or specialists
  • Provide appropriate treatment for problems within the scope of practice as designated by protocols
  • Identify problems outside of their scope of practice and refer appropriately to physicians

Requirements:

  • Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible)
  • Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner training
  • New graduates welcome to apply
  • Preferred experience: 1+ years in a critical care setting
