Orthopedic Nurse Specialist

About the Role:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in our Orthopedic and Medical Trauma units. As an RN, you will utilize your expertise to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients' physical and psychological needs, developing individualized treatment plans to address their unique requirements.
- Foster a culture of quality care, prioritizing patients' and families' needs and well-being.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, ensuring seamless coordination of care.
- Participate in clinical team conferences, collaborating with colleagues to optimize patient outcomes.
- Comply with hospital, regulatory, and professional guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Requirements:
- ASN from an accredited program; BSN within 4 years.
- Current RN license in state of practice.
- Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.
- One year of nursing experience in a comparable setting, preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Interact with others by effectively communicating, both orally and in writing.
- Operate computers and other office equipment requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.
- See and read computer monitors and documents.
- Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.
- May require lifting and transporting objects and office supplies, bending, kneeling, and reaching.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$50.50
