Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

Aptive Resources is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the VA Medical Clinic in Kayenta, AZ and the VA Medical Clinic in Page, AZ. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive healthcare services to our nation's veterans.
Key Responsibilities- Holistically assess patients' health and quality of life, identifying issues that require attention.
- Diagnose and treat common health conditions, ensuring prompt and effective care.
- Diagnose and treat minor injuries, providing immediate medical attention when necessary.
- Order and interpret laboratory tests to aid in the diagnosis and treatment process.
- Prescribe medications as needed, adhering to all regulatory guidelines and best practices.
- Make referrals to specialists when appropriate, coordinating care across healthcare providers.
- Act as a primary care provider for assigned patients, establishing strong patient-provider relationships and delivering personalized care plans.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a Nurse Practitioner-focused graduate master's or doctoral nursing program.
- Nurse Practitioner Board Certification, demonstrating advanced clinical knowledge and skills.
- At least 1 year of Nurse Practitioner experience in Primary Care, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine.
- Valid and unrestricted licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in any state.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Dedication to providing patient-centered care with a focus on improving health outcomes and enhancing quality of life for veterans.
