Nikkiso Cryogenic Industries is a leading provider of cryogenic pumps, heat exchangers, process systems, turboexpanders, services, and solutions for the liquefied natural gas (LNG), liquefied hydrogen (LH2), and industrial gases industries.

Our company specializes in machinery designed to operate at cryogenic temperatures as low as – 420 degrees Fahrenheit, the boiling point of Liquid hydrogen.

We have a diverse product line covering nearly every application requiring pumps or turboexpanders.

Job Overview

As a Technical Project Manager III, you will be responsible for full life cycle project management for a variety of customers.

You will ensure project scope is established and resources are properly allocated so that complete customer satisfaction is achieved and project deliverables are met within budget in a timely manner.

Responsibilities
  • Identify project stakeholders and determine their needs and expectations
  • Coordinate all project management activities on assigned projects with focus on managing schedule, budget, and risks and their mitigations
  • Plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate assigned project work; monitor work to ensure on-time release and delivery
  • Perform cost accounting and risk/opportunity management
  • Ensure extensive regular contact with assigned project clients and equipment vendors is met
  • Participate in client/contractor meetings and resolve project management issues
  • Ensure project documentation is complete, current, and stored appropriately
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination of project requirements pertaining to assigned projects between all Nikkiso disciplines and all other project participants
  • Generate project schedules, project budgets, statement of work, and customer status reports
  • Generate project status updates monthly and manage day-to-day project communication to clients
  • Implement and track project budgets and schedules
  • Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
  • Effectively apply methodology and enforce project standards
  • Communicate with customers and internal team, revising work plans to meet changing needs and/or requirements
Qualifications
  • Must possess exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Advanced knowledge of project management standards and best practices
  • Must possess data management and problem-solving expertise
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with performance management and ability to evaluate situations quickly and accurately
  • Skilled in motivating fellow team members to excel
  • Experience resolving conflicts and promoting organizational effectiveness
  • Must have change management and customer relations management experience
  • Excellent negotiation skills are a must
Work Environment and Physical Demands

In order to perform the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, talk and hear, and use fingers and hands to feel objects, tools or controls

Overtime may be necessary as the workload dictates. This may include week days, weekends, nights and/or holidays

Job will generally be performed in an office environment, but may require travel to a Client's office, production facility or industrial/construction job site.

Conditions will vary at each location, but the conditions listed above will generally apply

Lifting up to 30 lbs. may be required

Environmental Safety Requirements

New Employee Safety Training is required by all newly hired employees, including Safety Awareness

All safety related training is provided and tracked by the EHS Director

Job specific training modules deemed necessary by employee's Manager or Director will be required of all employees on an ongoing basis

Employees are required to wear Nikkiso provided PPE as/when needed

PPEs include, safety shoes, safety glasses, face shields, FR clothing, cryogenic gloves, cryogenic apron, cut resistant gloves, safety gloves, hearing protection, hard hats & dust masks

Failure to comply with Nikkiso Cryo safety requirements will result in disciplinary actions, up to and including termination

Experience and Education

Engineering product/project management experience required

Bachelor's degree is preferred

PMP certification is preferred

Equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be accepted
